ICT and Pedagogical Development

Sida has commissioned LIFE Academy and the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) at Stockholm University to carry out an International Training Programme (ITP) on ICT and Pedagogical Development. The overall objective of the programme is to contribute to capacity building and the start up of change processes in the participants´ organizations in order to integrate ICT in educational policies and strategies at all levels of the educational system. The programme is primarily intended for decision makers, planners, teachers, managers and specialists qualified to participate in reform processes of strategic importance for the educational sector in the country.

Spider is contributing to the ICT and Pedagogical Development programme through knowledge brokering and financial grants. Spider has advised on suitable candidates from its partner countries in the selection process as well as the schedule of activities in Sweden for the first phase of the programme, 22 May 22 – 14 June 14, 2012.
