Acting Director of SPIDER
Astrid Dufborg has an extensive development experience from over 30 years through Sida, which includes about 10 years stationed in Eastern and Southern Africa working on a variety of areas, such as education, public administration and infrastructure.
Astrid has been engaged in ICT4D issues on bilateral, multilateral and non-for profit basis over the last decade; such as leading the Swedish participation in the World Summit on Information Society process, representing Sweden in the UN ICT Task Force and as the co-founder, later the Executive Director and most recently one of the Directors of GeSCI (Global e-Schools and Communities Initiative, www.gesci.org).
