Network and System Administration at Kigali Institute of Technology in Rwanda

The Junior ICT expert will be based at the KIST ICT Center, be part of the RwEdNet Network Operation Center (NOC) Team and will help develop the critical skills of junior staff in network and system administration using a hands-on participatory approach to facilitate the transfer of knowledge.

The main mission will be to train the NOC team on how to install, maintain and support the RwEdNet national backbone and also support the member institutions to review the design of their campus networks connected to Rwednet. The purpose is to ensure smooth operation of the national research and education network resources in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users (staff, students and administration).
