Our director Dr. Afzal Sher has decided to return to Sida after 5 years as director of SPIDER. At Sida he will continue to champion ICT4D in development cooperation.

Karoline Beronius is also moving on to new challenges. As of March 8 she will be working at KTH with the new EIT ICT Labs.

SPIDER welcomes a new colleague Cecilia Strand. Cecilia Strand has a Masters degree in media and communication from Lund University, Sweden and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Stockholm University Sweden.

From January 2009, Annelie Östlund has replaced Fatima Santala as project assistant at SPIDER. Fatima will now be working full time at The Department of Computer and System Sciences (DSV) at KTH-SU. We are immensely grateful for the fantastic work she has done for SPIDER since its establishment in 2004.
